Real-world Effectiveness of SAINT® (Accelerated Theta-Burst Stimulation) for Treatment-Resistant Depression in Diverse Clinical Settings
This open-label multicenter study evaluated SAINT®, a functional connectivity-guided form of intermittent theta-burst stimulation, in 101 adults with major depressive disorder who had not responded adequately to antidepressants. Treatment involved a 5-day protocol with 68.3% achieving significant improvement and 89.1% showing meaningful clinical benefit, with consistent results across sites and baseline severity levels.
