Translation and Adaptation of the Online Gambling Disorder Questionnaire into Brazilian Portuguese: Psychometric Validation
This study translated and adapted the Online Gambling Disorder Questionnaire (OGD-Q) for Brazilian Portuguese, examining its psychometric properties across 298 participants. The instrument demonstrated strong internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha 0.92) and significant correlations with depression, anxiety, stress, and online gaming behavior, supporting its validity as a screening tool for problematic online gambling.
