Emotional and Behavioral Effects of Online Self-Reflective Meditation in Youth With ADHD: A Randomized Clinical Trial
A 12-week randomized controlled trial of an online meditation program in 40 youth with ADHD found selective improvements in trait anxiety and some self-reported emotional symptoms, but no significant effects on observable behavioral problems or core attention deficits. The intervention showed modest promise as a complementary approach targeting emotional regulation rather than primary ADHD symptoms.
