Comparison of Video Modeling and Video-Animated Modeling for Teaching Social-Affective Behaviors in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
This single-case study evaluated the effectiveness of video modeling (VM) and video-animated modeling (VAM) in teaching three social-affective behaviors (verbal/facial expressions and gestures) to 3 children aged 4-6 years with ASD. Both interventions proved effective with variable efficiency across participants, and caregivers and teachers reported positive social validity outcomes.
