Characterizing Concerns and Stressors During Subacute Spinal Cord Injury: A Thematic Analysis of Psychotherapy Session Notes
This qualitative study analyzed psychotherapy notes from 22 individuals with spinal cord injury during the subacute phase to identify and categorize their primary concerns and stressors using thematic analysis. Participants received 10 sessions of telehealth cognitive-behavioral therapy over 12 weeks, with documented concerns organized according to socioecological frameworks including intrapersonal, interpersonal, and systemic levels.
