Epidemiological Investigation of Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury from Object Strike in China: Workplace Safety Implications
This epidemiological analysis of 435 cases (2013-2022) found that strike-induced spinal cord injury predominantly affects young and middle-aged males (11.8:1 ratio) in manual labor occupations, with 89.4% occurring in workplace settings like construction and mining. The study emphasizes the need for enhanced workplace safety education to reduce these preventable injuries.
