Correlation between daily physical activity and motor/non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's disease using wearable technology

This cross-sectional study of 80 Parkinson's patients examined relationships between objectively measured daily physical activity (step count) and symptom severity using wearable devices over 6 weeks. Higher daily activity was associated with significantly reduced bradykinesia and paradoxically increased mild dyskinesia, supporting the role of physical activity in managing Parkinson's motor symptoms.
