Multidimensional Study of Antiplatelet Therapy and CYP2C19 Genetic Testing in Ischemic Stroke and TIA Patients
This study evaluates current practices and guideline adherence for antiplatelet therapy and CYP2C19 genetic testing in stroke and TIA patients, combining systematic guideline review with retrospective analysis of 147 patients and physician interviews. Results show most patients received guideline-concordant empirical dual antiplatelet therapy, though genetic testing uptake was low, with recommendations for precision pharmaceutical care implementation.
