Sensory and Executive Function Subtypes Associated With Participation in Adolescents With Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Latent Profile Analysis Approach
This cross-sectional study of 102 adolescents with ASD identified four distinct sensory processing subtypes using latent profile analysis and examined their associations with executive function and participation. The sensory over-responsive/avoidant profile was associated with significantly higher executive function difficulties and lower participation across school and community contexts.
