Stimulant medication and symptom interrelations in children, adolescents and adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder

This study used network analysis to compare ADHD symptom relationships between 348 stimulant-treated individuals, 70 untreated individuals with ADHD, and 444 non-ADHD controls, finding stronger symptom associations in the treated group. The authors note that prospective longitudinal studies are needed to determine whether these differences reflect treatment effects or pre-existing factors.
