Association of Screen Time with ADHD Symptoms and Brain Structure Development: A Longitudinal Mediation Analysis

This longitudinal study of over 10,000 children from the ABCD cohort examined associations between screen time, ADHD symptom development, and brain structure changes over 2 years. Higher baseline screen time was associated with increased ADHD symptoms and reduced cortical thickness in frontal and temporal regions, with total cortical volume partially mediating this relationship.
