Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms and bullying victimization from childhood to adolescence: A within-person cross-lagged approach

This longitudinal study of 872 Norwegian children followed biennially from ages 6-14 examined reciprocal relationships between ADHD symptoms and peer victimization using clinical interviews and teacher reports. Results showed bidirectional effects between inattentiveness symptoms specifically and victimization, suggesting inattentiveness increases bullying risk while victimization may worsen inattentive symptoms.
