Comparison of Cold and Cool Cognition in Children With and Without ADHD
This study compared attentional and executive processing in 85 children with ADHD and 72 typically developing children using emotional and non-emotional stimuli across cognitive tasks. Results showed emotional stimuli enhanced performance on attention and inhibitory control tasks in both groups, suggesting emotional valence facilitates executive functions regardless of ADHD diagnosis.
