Association between anthropogenic heat exposure and childhood ADHD symptoms in China: A cross-sectional study
This large cross-sectional study of 179,846 Chinese children examined whether exposure to anthropogenic heat from industrial, transportation, building, and metabolic sources correlates with parent-reported ADHD symptoms. All four heat exposure types showed statistically significant associations with increased odds of ADHD symptoms, with transportation-related heat showing the strongest effect.
