Asymmetric neural dynamics of visuospatial attention in autism spectrum disorder

StudiuAutismÎncredere înaltă

This study used EEG, pupillometry, and behavioral testing to examine how children and adolescents with autism process spatial attention compared to typically developing peers. While both groups showed similar behavioral performance, neurophysiological measures revealed group differences in neural dynamics during rightward versus leftward attention tasks, suggesting distinct neural mechanisms underlying attention in autism.
