Response Inhibition in Children With ADHD: A Time Domain and Time-Frequency Domain Analysis Study

This study compared event-related potentials and spectral perturbations during a Go/No-Go task in 90 children with ADHD and 62 typically developing children aged 6-13 years. Children with ADHD showed reduced accuracy, smaller P3 amplitudes, decreased delta-band synchronization, and impaired error monitoring, suggesting distinct neural activation patterns across multiple stages of inhibitory control.
