Gender differences in attentional blink in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

StudiuADHDÎncredere bună

This study examined 99 children with ADHD and 99 typically developing controls using a visual attention task to assess gender differences in attentional blink (a temporary inability to detect stimuli). Results showed boys and girls with ADHD exhibited distinct patterns: girls showed delayed attentional blink onset while boys showed prolonged blink duration compared to controls, suggesting different neurobiological mechanisms between genders in ADHD.
