Altered Cerebellar Gray Matter Volume Trajectories in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder from Childhood to Adulthood
This neuroimaging study analyzed 871 participants (325 with ADHD, 546 controls) aged 7-21 years using high-resolution MRI and automated cerebellar segmentation to examine developmental trajectories. Individuals with ADHD showed different age-related patterns of gray matter volume in specific cerebellar regions compared to typically developing controls, with steeper increases in some areas at younger ages.
