Quality of life of caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder in Saudi Arabia

A cross-sectional study of 302 caregivers in Saudi Arabia found that those caring for children with ASD reported lowest physical health scores and highest social relationship scores, with female caregivers showing significantly lower physical quality of life than males. Socioeconomic status and employment were positive predictors of overall quality of life across multiple domains.
