Improving Care for Autistic Youth in Correctional Settings

This review examines the overrepresentation of autistic youth in juvenile correctional facilities and their unmet support needs within these inadequately prepared systems. The authors propose feasible, autism-informed, evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes and facilitate successful community reintegration.
