Feeding difficulties, eating disorders and therapeutic approaches in autism spectrum disorder: An overview

This review examines the high prevalence of feeding problems in autistic individuals, linking atypical eating behaviors to sensory processing differences and insistence on sameness while considering gastrointestinal factors. It synthesizes evidence-based interventions across pharmacological, psychological, and nutritional domains for managing feeding difficulties in ASD.
