Impact of Autism Severity on Auditory Behavior and Receptive Vocabulary in Children with ASD

StudiuAutismÎncredere bună

This empirical study examined 30 children (ages 3-6) to determine whether autism severity correlates with auditory processing deficits and receptive vocabulary using standardized measures including the GARS-3, Sensory Profile, and PPVT. Children with higher autism severity showed more atypical auditory behaviors, though receptive vocabulary development did not significantly differ between severity groups.
