This empirical study of 189 Chinese children with ASD in mainstream classrooms found that both peer and teacher-student relationships reduce aggressive behaviors, while perceived discrimination increases such behaviors. The protective effects of relationships operate partly through reducing discrimination experiences, highlighting the importance of inclusive classroom environments for behavioral outcomes.
