Neurodevelopmental conditions and adaptive functioning - a co-twin control study

StudiuAutism + ADHDÎncredere înaltă

This Swedish twin study (N=314, ages 8-21) examined how autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and other psychiatric conditions independently relate to daily adaptive functioning while accounting for genetic and shared environmental factors. All neurodevelopmental conditions were associated with adaptive challenges, with greater functional impairment observed when multiple conditions co-occurred.
