Speech Therapy Interventions for Autistic Children in Brazilian Healthcare Services: A Scoping Review

This scoping review systematically identified and categorized speech therapy assessment and treatment practices for autistic children aged 2-12 years across Brazilian healthcare services, analyzing 49 studies published through July 2024. Findings indicate that speech therapy approaches are predominantly therapeutic and evaluative in nature, delivered primarily through university clinics, with growing emphasis on personalized care and strategy adaptation.
