WeeFIM and CRIDI-TEA Assessment Results in Children with Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder at CRIT Guanajuato

This observational study evaluated 42 children with Down syndrome at a rehabilitation center, screening for co-occurring autism using validated diagnostic tools (VEANME and CRIDI-TEA). Results showed 47.6% of participants had dual diagnosis, with greater functional dependence in mobility, cognition, and self-care, and noted reduction in autism-related behaviors over time.
