Anxiety Symptom Networks in Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder: A Comparative Network Analysis

StudiuAutism + ADHDÎncredere bună

This cross-sectional study of 815 patients compared anxiety symptom networks between major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorder (BD) using the Beck Anxiety Inventory and network analysis techniques. While both conditions showed similar core anxiety symptoms (loss of control, choking sensations, breathing difficulties, unsteadiness, shakiness), MDD demonstrated stronger overall network connectivity than BD, suggesting different patterns of symptom interconnection despite comparable symptom profiles.
