This cross-national study examined family adaptation in 12 countries among parents of individuals with Down syndrome using the Resiliency Model framework. Family demands, appraisal, resources, and problem-solving communication emerged as key predictors of adaptation, with average adjustment scores across all countries, though cultural differences were noted.
