Dynamic gait stability in children with and without Down syndrome during overground walking

StudiuSindrom DownÎncredere bună

This study compared gait stability in 24 children with and without Down syndrome under different walking speeds and ankle load conditions using margin-of-stability measurements. Children with Down syndrome demonstrated greater mediolateral stability but variable anteroposterior stability patterns, with ankle loads affecting mediolateral but not anteroposterior stability parameters.
