Sella turcica morphometrics in subjects with Down syndrome

This retrospective study compared sella turcica dimensions and shape in 24 individuals with Down syndrome against 48 age- and gender-matched controls using morphometric analysis. Results showed statistically significant increases in sella height, length, and area in Down syndrome subjects, with geometric analysis revealing differences in sella shape between groups.
