Siblings' experiences of sleep disruption in families with a child with Down syndrome

StudiuSindrom DownÎncredere bună

This qualitative study examined how sleep disruption in children with Down syndrome affects their siblings (aged 5-15) through interviews with siblings and parents from 8 Australian families. Findings show siblings experience adverse sleep effects that are often normalized by families, and parents may underestimate the impact on siblings' wellbeing and daytime functioning.
