Head Injury Assessment and Return-to-Play Protocol Understanding Among U.S. Major League Rugby Players

A survey of 207 U.S. Major League Rugby players examined their understanding of head injury assessment and return-to-play protocols, finding that understanding was not correlated with prior concussion history but was associated with international playing experience and trust in league protocols. The study identified gaps in player education and staffing as key factors affecting protocol comprehension and player safety.
