Frailty Prevalence and Associated Factors in Community-Dwelling Adults with Down Syndrome: REVIVIS Study Results

This cross-sectional study of 139 adults with Down syndrome found that 43.2% met frailty criteria, with medication burden strongly associated with higher frailty levels while employment status was protective. Chronological age alone did not predict frailty, suggesting that biological and social factors beyond age drive health vulnerability in this population.
