Employment of people with Down syndrome: A scoping review

This scoping review examined literature from 1980–2023 on employment outcomes and experiences of individuals with Down syndrome, finding recent employment rates of 53% but noting jobs often underutilize their skills. Key factors influencing employment include cognitive abilities, personal characteristics, societal attitudes, and availability of support systems.
