Safety and Tolerability of Home-Based Intravenous Immunoglobulin Infusions in Down Syndrome Regression Disorder

This retrospective study evaluated the safety and tolerability of IVIg home infusions versus institutional infusions in 315 individuals with Down syndrome regression disorder, a rare neuropsychiatric condition. Home-based infusions showed comparable adverse event rates during infusion but fewer overall adverse events and behavioral complications, with significantly lower treatment discontinuation rates due to behavioral issues.
