This study compared research attitudes among caregivers and decision-makers for individuals with Down syndrome versus those without DS using data from two registries. While overall research attitudes were similar between groups, item-level analysis revealed that decision-makers for people with DS showed greater endorsement of responsibility to help others in research participation.
