Fingolimod treatment and its effects on anxiety and depression in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis patients

A prospective study of 61 MS patients found that four months of fingolimod treatment did not produce significant changes in anxiety or depression scores compared to baseline. At baseline, MS relapses and prior medication use were associated with depression, while recent adverse life events correlated with anxiety.
