Monitorizarea depresiei: o nouă sondă fluorescentă pentru imagistica serotoninei
Cercetătorii au dezvoltat o sondă fluorescentă extrem de sensibilă și selectivă pentru vizualizarea serotoninei, ceea ce este important pentru înțelegerea diagnosticului, tratamentului și dezvoltării medicamentelor în cazul depresiei. Acest instrument permite o vizualizare mai bună a proceselor biologice legate de serotonină în cercetarea privind depresia.
