Non-Suicidal Self-Injury and Exercise: Associations With Addictive Disorders in Korean Adults

StudiuAdicțiiÎncredere bună

This epidemiological study of 5,511 Korean adults found that non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) was the strongest predictor of addictive disorders (alcohol, tobacco, internet gaming), with over 9-fold increased risk. Interestingly, while regular walking was protective, moderate-to-high exercise was associated with increased addiction risk, suggesting complex relationships between behavioral patterns and addictive disorders.
