Morphometric Analysis of Ear, Nose, and Digit Ratio Features in Children With Down Syndrome
This study examined craniofacial measurements (ear dimensions, nasal characteristics, and 2D:4D digit ratio) in 40 children with Down syndrome aged 2-13 years using anthropometric and photogrammetric methods. Results showed significant sex differences in digit ratio and positive correlations between all parameters and age, with potential clinical applications for diagnosis, genetic counseling, and medical device customization.
