StudiuSindrom DownÎncredere bună

This retrospective study examined hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory skin condition, in 116 children with Down syndrome, finding HS in 32 patients with earlier onset (median age 13 years) and higher prevalence in girls. Patients with DS and HS showed higher BMI and follicular phenotype characteristics compared to DS-only controls, with most cases being mild and responding to topical/oral antibiotics.
