Quality of Life Priorities for Adults with Down Syndrome: Findings from International Forum

A 2024 World Down Syndrome Conference forum gathered 140+ adults with Down syndrome to identify factors supporting good quality of life, prioritizing relationships, employment, learning, independent living, safety, health, autonomy, and social inclusion. The study demonstrates the importance of including people with Down syndrome directly in research and discusses how AI tools could facilitate better documentation and sharing of their experiences and self-advocacy.
