Dental Anomalies and Dental Age in Pediatric Patients with Down Syndrome: A Comparative Study

This study examined dental anomalies in 61 children with Down syndrome compared to age-matched controls using panoramic radiographs and the Nolla developmental method. Down syndrome patients showed significantly higher frequencies of taurodontism, hyperdontia, hypodontia, and tissue/size anomalies, though dental age advancement was not statistically significant overall.
