Antenatal Monitoring Performance for Fetal Well-Being in Down Syndrome Pregnancies: A Retrospective Cohort Study

This retrospective study of 41 pregnancies with confirmed Down syndrome evaluated antenatal surveillance parameters (fetal growth, Doppler studies, amniotic fluid volume, nonstress testing) to identify predictors of intrauterine fetal demise. The research addresses the clinical challenge of balancing prevention of preterm delivery against increased fetal mortality risk in Down syndrome pregnancies.
