Respiratory symptoms and behavior change in people with Down syndrome during COVID-19 social lockdown

This study analyzed changes in respiratory symptoms among Down syndrome individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, finding that symptom reduction was inversely related to age, suggesting respiratory issues in younger DS individuals are more infection-related. Mixed behavioral and well-being changes were observed in about half of participants but were not clearly linked to respiratory symptom frequency changes.
