Postural control in adults with Down syndrome: A computerized dynamic posturography study

This clinical study assessed postural control in 60 adults with Down syndrome using Computerized Dynamic Posturography and found that 43.3% showed pathological balance scores, with visual and vestibular impairments identified in 31.7% and 55% of participants respectively. The findings highlight previously underrecognized postural deficits in this population that increase with age and may contribute to fall risk.
