Educators' Knowledge of and Attitudes Towards ADHD: A Cross-Sectional Study in South African Schools

This study assessed ADHD knowledge and attitudes among 100 educators in South African public and private schools using validated scales. Results showed educators had adequate ADHD knowledge (70% mean score), though private school educators scored significantly higher than public school counterparts, while attitudes towards ADHD-associated behaviours remained unfavourable and unrelated to knowledge or experience.
