Immersive VR Intervention Effects on Brain Networks and ADHD Symptoms in Children: A Pilot Neuroimaging Study
This pilot study examined whether immersive VR intervention targeting attention and social skills affects brain functional networks in children with ADHD, using resting-state fMRI to measure spontaneous neural activity. Fourteen children with ADHD received 16 weekly 30-minute VR sessions and were compared to healthy controls, with analyses exploring correlations between brain changes and clinical symptom improvements.
