Ecological Momentary Assessment of Emotion Dysregulation in ADHD: A Systematic Review

This systematic review synthesized 33 EMA studies involving approximately 2678 participants to examine how emotion dysregulation manifests in real-time within ADHD populations across different ages. Findings confirm EMA effectively captures dynamic emotional variations and their relationship to negative affect and functional impairment, with good compliance rates (60-99%), though larger longitudinal studies in adolescents are needed.
