Age at First ADHD Diagnosis and Educational Outcomes: A Population-Based Cohort Study

This Finnish registry study followed 580,132 individuals born 1990-1999 to examine whether the age of ADHD diagnosis relates to educational outcomes including GPA, degree completion, tertiary enrollment, and school dropout. The study found sex-differentiated patterns in ADHD prevalence (2.1% in males, 0.7% in females) and used clinical diagnosis and medication records to identify cases.
